My art career started with spray paint & stencils at 13.

I spent my teens carving out big ideas into small images with mums nursing scissors. I’d then customise my neighbourhood with the cheapest spray paint I could find.

Stencils were the medium that brought BMD together, that then got me into larger scale street art. It paved my current path in contemporary art where I now pretty much create art at all scales, with all materials, on all mediums.

This limited edition print is a homage to stencilling and where I started. The hieroglyphics reference notable characters & iconography I’ve repeated in my work from stories I've learned over the years.

The works are individually is hand-sprayed, created with two stencil-negatives using quality 3D-textured acrylic & enamel aerosols.
